For this series I am using landscape inspired posters and wallpaper murals as a source material for the paintings, playing with the idea of the pictorial view of Nature for the home environment. The reflective quality of the gloss paint surface, brings the viewer into the piece. The new uber kitsch, more colourful work acts towards a counter point to the original artificial representation of the subject matter.
